Methuen, Ma. – Mary T. (Piazza) Torrisi 92 died Thursday at the Nevins Nursing and Rehabilitation Centre.
She was born in Lawrence the daughter of Antonio and Maria (Piazza) Piazza and was a graduate of Lawrence High School.
For many years she was an Administrative Assistant with AVCO of Wilmington and retired from Schaefer Associates in Wakefield. Mary was the widow of Domenico Torrisi. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law Jean and Kenneth Ammon of Windham, NH, 3 grandchildren; Kimberly and husband Clifford Marotta, Lisa and husband Steve Knauff, and Eric and wife Maura Ammon, 9 great-grandchildren; Mark, Andrew, Olivia, Ryan, Adam, Nathan, Zachary, Molly and Penelope.
A Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday morning at 9 o’clock in St. Monica’s Church in Methuen with entombment to follow in St. Mary-Immaculate Conception Mausoleum.
Friends will be warmly received on Tuesday from 5-8 PM at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home 233 Lawrence St. Methuen. In lieu of flowers: Attn. Lisa Shae memorials may be made to Nevins Nursing and Rehabilitation Centre 10 Ingalls Court Methuen, Ma. 01844.
