Arthur V. Varle, 75, of Manchester, died August 17, 2004, at Catholic Medical Center, after a lengthy illness.
Born in Manchester, January 2, 1929, he was the son of Victor and Germaine (Fonteyn) Varle. He was a lifelong resident of this city.
Mr. Varle worked many for the City of Manchester until his retirement.
He served in the US Army during the Korean War.
Family members include his wife of 50 years, Marie E. (Paquette) Varle of Manchester; nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Thursday at St. Raphael Church. Burial followed in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bedford.
