Obituary

Florence M. (Sceles) Wilson of Natick and The Villages, Florida died on Thursday, June 13, 2013 at her home surrounded by her family. She was 79 years old.

Born in Boston on November 18, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Morley & Muriel (Esson) Sceles. She was raised and educated in Roxbury and worked as a payroll clerk for fifteen years with IL of Lexington.

Florence was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister & friend. Her loving family always came first. Mrs. Wilson was a Natick resident for 45 years, a faithful member of St. Patrick’s Church of Natick where she attended daily Mass and visited the Adoration Chapel for an hour a week for the last twelve years with her husband Bill.

She was an avid walker before walking became popular and looked forward to her Dunkin Donuts Coffee & Jelly Donut after daily Mass. Florence was also a Boston Red Sox and New England Patriot fan.

She was the loving wife of William W. “Bill” Wilson, III, with whom they would have shared their 57th Wedding Anniversary this Sunday, Father’s Day. She was the loving mother of Stephen W. Wilson & his wife Cristina, Kathleen M. Wenckus & her husband Daniel, Wendy A. Wilson, all of Natick, Debra J. Hebert & her husband Steven of Millbury, Diane M. Tobin & her husband John of Southborough & Christine Smaldone & her husband Bill of Westborough. Cherished grandmother of William IV, Stephen, Jr, Michael. Kristin, Lindsay, Jack, Allison, Trey & Nicky. Doting great grandmother of Destiny. Caring sister of Dorothy Hartford of Rockland & the late William Sceles, Allan Sceles & Margaret Pease. Also survived by many nieces, nephews & cousins.

Her funeral will be from the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park St. at Natick Common on Tuesday, June 18th at 9:00AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. Patrick’s Church 44 E. Central St., Natick at 10:00AM. Relatives & friends respectfully invited. Visiting hours Monday from 4:00-7:00PM. Interment is private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Florence’s name may be made to the Adoration Chapel of St. Patrick’s Church, 44 E. Central St., Natick, MA 01760 or Brookhaven Hospice, 6 Beech St., Framingham, MA 01702.
