Kristafer M. Fonseca, 19, of Dartmouth died June 11, 2013 unexpectedly at home.
Born in New Bedford, the son of Sheena K. (Garcia) Fonseca of Dartmouth and the late Robert J. Fonseca, he lived in New Bedford and Dartmouth all of his life.
He was employed by Walmart in Dartmouth.
Survivors include his mother; 3 brothers, Garit Fonseca of Dartmouth, Gil DeCosta of Boston and Gustin Froias of New Bedford; 5 sisters, Roberta Fonseca of Westport, Windy Monteiro of Dartmouth and Rona Nelson, Katy-Lynn DeCosta and Peggy Reis, all of New Bedford; his fiancée, Samantha Botelho; his aunt, Susan Silva of New Bedford and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was the grandson of the late Catherine DeCosta.
His Funeral Service will be held on Monday, June 17th at 11 AM in the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford. Burial will follow in Rural Cemetery. Visiting hours will be on Sunday, June 16th from 4-8 PM.
