WEBSTER – Adele (Zulkiewicz) Jankot, 99, died Saturday, June 8, 2013, in the Lifecare Center of Auburn. Her husband of 70 years, Walter L. Jankot, died in 2004.
She leaves a daughter, Dorothy J. Karpowich of Irvine, CA; 2 grandchildren, Karen Mattor of Merrimack, NH and Debra Dec of Dana Point, CA; 5 great-grandchildren; a brother, Fred Zulkiewicz of Putnam, CT; a sister, Cecilia Desautel of Danielson, CT; nieces and nephews.
She was born in Rogers, CT, daughter of Leon and Antonia (Bigda) Zyulkiewicz. She lived in Putnam, CT for many years before moving to Webster in 1966.
Mrs. Jankot was a homemaker. She was a member of Saint Joseph Basilica.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. There are no calling hours. Donations may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice. Arrangements are under the direction of Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home, 340 School Street, Webster.
