Seabrook, NH – Priscilla J. (Jackson) Nolet 90 yrs. died Sunday June 9, 2013 at Kindred Nursing and Rehabilitation – Brigham Manor in Newburyport.
Priscilla was born June 24, 1922 in Lawrence, Ma the daughter of Thomas E. and Priscilla (Illingworth) Jackson. She was a 1939 graduate of Lawrence High School. She worked in the office at Inglewood Cemetery Inglewood, Ca. from 1954 – 1974. She then worked from 1976 – 1989 and retired as a switchboard operator from the Seabrook Nuclear Power Plant .
Priscilla was very committed to helping the WW II veterans to knitting clothing and service men overseas, loved music as well as animals.
Priscilla was the widow of Arthur J. Nolet who died in 1974.
Mrs Nolet was also predeceased by her brothers; Thomas H. and Albert D. Jackson her sisters Maud Jenkins, and Margaret E. Arnold, and her nephew Keith Burgiel.
Mrs. Nolet is survived by numerous nieces and nephews and sister-in-law Mrs. Maureen Jackson.
Funeral services will take place on Thursday morning at 9 o’clock from the Kenneth H, Pollard Funeral Home 233 Lawrence Street in Methuen, Ma. with burial to follow in the Elmwood Cemetery.
Friends will be warmly received on Thursday morning from 8AM – 9AM at the funeral home.
