Louise M. Raulino, 76

Dateline: Norton, MA

Louise M. (Lafferriere) Raulino, age 76, of Norton passed away surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, June 9, 2013 at the Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro. She was the beloved wife of Edward V. Raulino to whom she was wed on July 3, 1954.
Born in Fall River, MA on November 28, 1936, she was a dear daughter of the late Charles J. and Alma M.(Langevin) Lafferriere. She grew up in Warren, Rhode Island and was educated in Warren public schools.
Prior to retiring, Mrs. Raulino had been employed for 10 years as a Personal Care Aide, a job she truly loved, at the Wrentham Developmental Center. She had also worked at the former Texas Instruments in Attleboro where she made many friends.
A resident of Norton for the past 46 years, She was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church in Norton. Louise’s favorite times spent were those which involved family, of which her grandchildren were the essence of her life.
Louise’s interests included decorating, refinishing furniture, camping, playing cards and solving crossword puzzles. When younger she was an accomplished accordion player and along with her husband was a member of the band “Two Guys & A Doll” Her other hobbies while younger also included bowling.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her devoted and adoring children, Suzanne M. George of North Attleboro, Joanne P. Zagami and her husband Joseph of North Attleboro, Michele D. Crockett and her husband Patrick of Marshfield and the late Michael E. Raulino and Sandy L. Raulino. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren, Joseph, Joshua, Chloe, Sadie, Nolan and the late Owen, and is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews.
Her funeral, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be held on Friday June 14th at 9:00 A.M. from the Norton Memorial Funeral Home, 19 Clapp St. (Off Route 140, Taunton Ave.) Norton followed by a Mass of Christian burial celebrated at 10:00 A.M. in St. Mary’s Church, 1 Power St., Norton. Burial will follow in the Timothy Plain Cemetery, Norton.
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, June 13th from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at the Norton Memorial Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, Louise’s family has requested that donations in her memory be made to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, One Bulfinch Place, 2nd Floor, Boston, MA 02114.
