Obituary

Mr. Robert E. Pease, Jr., of Taunton and formerly of Raynham, died Friday, June 7 in Morton Hospital, surrounded by his loving family, following a brief and courageous battle with cancer. He was born 56 years ago in Brockton, the son of the late Robert E. Pease, Sr. and the late Joan (Arnold) Baron-Black. He was educated in Brockton, having graduated from Brockton High School, and had been a Raynham and Taunton resident for the past 40 years. Robert was employed as a delivery truck driver for the Brockton Enterprise for 10 years. He was also employed as a warehouseman for United Parcel Service in Brockton for 16 years. He was previously employed at the Greyhound Package Store in Raynham for many years. He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving in communications while stationed in Germany in the 1970’s. He enjoyed bowling, playing horseshoes, camping, playing pinball, fishing, visiting Foxwoods and listening to rock and roll music. Robert loved the outdoors.
He leaves: 2 brothers: John “Mike” Pease and his wife, Carolyn of Cooper, Texas, and Steven Pease of New Bedford; 1 sister: Patricia Skidmore of Taunton, and many nieces and nephews. He was the uncle of the late Daniel J. Northrup of Taunton
A Funeral Service will be held at The Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home, 467 Bay Street, Taunton, on Wednesday, June 12 at 10:00 A.M. Interment will follow in Union Cemetery, Holbrook. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting Hours will be held on Tuesday, from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. Expressions of sympathy in his memory may be made to the charity of your choice.
