Lillian A. (Ballard) Thomas, 68, of Danvers, died Saturday morning at the Kaplan Family Hospice House following a lengthy illness. She was the wife of the late Richard J. Thomas.
Born in Chelsea, she was the daughter of the late David and Mabel (Brennan) Ballard. She was a Danvers resident for over forty years.
Lillian was employed by GTE Sylvania for many years. Known for her helpfulness, she was a loving, caring woman. She enjoyed caring for her cats and her fish.
She is survived by her daughter, Mary A. Allen of Danvers and her step-sons, Paul Lindquist of Danvers, Bob Hudson of Danvers.
Visiting hours are Tuesday from 5-8PM in C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers Square. Relatives and friends are invited. All other services are private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of the North Shore, 75 Sylvan St., Danvers, MA 01923.
