Obituary

Mrs. Marjorie "Marge" (Buckley) Woodworth, 90, of North Andover, formerly of Lawrence, passed away on June 6, 2013 at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House in Haverhill. She was the widow of Ronald G. Woodworth who died in 1994.

She was born February 23, 1923 in Lawrence, to the late John and Margaret (Carney) Buckley. Mrs. Woodworth graduated from Saint Mary's High School and Bradshaw Business School in Lawrence. Mrs. Woodworth was a communicant of Saint Augustine's Church in Lawrence, and of Saint Michael's Church in North Andover.

She worked for many years at the Massachusetts Department of Employment Security. She was a lifetime member of the Lady's Ancient Order of Hibernians Division 8 of Lawrence and was awarded Irishwoman of the Year in 1993, a member of the Guild of Poor Clare, Andover and the Moving On Club. She loved spending time with her family and friends at various functions, family parties and at the beach.

Family members include: Brother: John J. Buckley and his wife Patricia Ann of Chelmsford. Sister: Mary V. Haynes of Lawrence, Nieces and Nephews: Dr. George J. Haynes and his wife Sharon of Kirtland, Ohio, Thomas R. Haynes and his wife Janis of Salem, N.H., Eileen Loucraft and her husband Brian of Nashua, N.H., James J. Buckley and his wife Nancy of Atkinson, N.H., Patrick J. Buckley and his wife Gia of Plaistow, N.H., as well as several grand nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her best friend Peg Lopiano of North Andover.

She was predeceased by her husband Ronald G. Woodworth, sisters, Dorothy Kiley, Winifred and Virginia Buckley and her brother-in-laws George J. Haynes and Frank C. Kiley.

The family would like to thank the staff of the Mary Immaculate Healthcare Center and Merrimack Valley Hospice House for the care they have provided to Marjorie over the course of her illness.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, June 10, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. in St. Michael's Church, 196 Main St., North Andover, MA. Burial will folllow in St. Mary's Cemetery in Lawrence, MA. Family and friends may call on Sunday, June 9, 2013 from 4 to 8 P..M. at the John Breen Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 35 MERRIMACK ST., NORTH ANDOVER, MA.
