Mr. James V. Gerraughty, Jr. of Andover and husband of the late Janet (Gillen) died at his home on Friday, June 7, 2013. Mr. Gerraughty worked as a volunteer at Holy Family Hospital for more than 10 years. He was the father of James V. Gerraughty, III and his wife Melanie Reagan of Pelham, New Hampshire, Ann B. and her husband John A. Johnson of Andover and Barbara J. Cunningham of Meredith, New Hampshire. Mr. Gerraughty is also survived by six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late William B. Gerraughty.
His Funeral Mass was held in St. Augustine Church, 43 Essex Street, Andover, Monday, June 10, 2013, at 10 AM. Many relatives and friends are respectfully attended. Calling hours were held in the Burke-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 390 North Main Street, Andover on Sunday, June 9, 2013, from 2 to 8 PM. Interment was in Spring Grove Cemetery in Andover.
