In Raynham, of Fremont Street Taunton, June 6, 2013 Irene L. (Grant) Tosti wife of Frank Tosti died at the Life Care Center of Raynham at the age of 80. Born in Taunton, Irene was the daughter of the late Joseph and Almena (Gagnon) Grant. She was a graduate of Taunton High School class of 1950. Irene was the founder and co owner of Tosti Real Estate in Taunton. She was a communicant and a Eucharistic minister of the former St. Paul’s Church for over fifty years and now a member of St. Andrew the Apostle Church in Taunton. She was a member of the Coyle & Cassidy Mother’s Club and was the recipient of the Marion Medal. Irene enjoyed her grandchildren especially when they played sports. She was the mother of Richard Tosti and his wife Joan of Douglas, Sharon Lennon and her husband Stephen of Falmouth, Paula Lopes and her husband James of South Dennis, James Tosti of Taunton and Susan Tabak and her husband Scott of Taunton. Grandmother of Christopher Tosti and his wife Coreen, Jill Tosti, Alyssa Tosti, Daniel Jacobs, Jillian Jacobs, Evan Jacobs, Jennifer White, Nicole White, Julian Lennon, Stephen Lennon, Matthew Lopes, Joshua Lopes, Casey Tosti and his wife Samantha, Nicholas Tabak, Jessica Tabak and great grandmother of Grace Tosti. Sister of Edward Grant and his wife Patricia of North Carolina, David Grant and his wife Dorothy of Taunton and the late Joseph Grant. Calling hours will be held at the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington Street in Taunton Sunday, June 9th from 4-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St Andrew the Apostle Church in Taunton on Monday at 11 AM. Interment will be in St. Francis Cemetery in Taunton.
