Betty (Mitchell) Pavey

Betty (Mitchell) Pavey, 92, of Anderson died June 5, 2013 at Bethany Pointe Health Campus after a brief illness.
Betty was born March 23, 1921 in Windfall, IN to Paul and Ada (Moorman) Mitchell.
She worked in payroll at Delco Remy 22 years before retiring in the mid 1960's.
She attended East Side Church of God and Central Christian Church. She worked at the Unemployment Office during the 1970's.
She was involved with helping people with special needs. She was an avid sports fan supporting IU basketball, the Pacers and the Colts.
Survivors include her daughter Carol Pavey (husband Peter Elliott Miles) of Hamilton, Ontario, Canada; and C. Mitchell Pavey of Anderson; two grandchildren, Chloe Elaine Pavey Miles and Cadyn Elliott Pavey Miles of Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Carl Pavey died on April 25, 2008.
Service will be noon on Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Pastor Mary Ann Randolph of East Side Church of God officiating. Visitation will be from 10:30 until noon at the funeral home. Burial will be in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be given to Christian Center, Madison County Humane Society or Special Olympics.
