Virginia Noyes (Weeks) Tough, age 84, of 13 Meetinghouse Lane, Ledyard, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Monday, August 16th died at Mariner Healthcare at Pendleton in Mystic.
She is survived by her four children; Ellen Ockert of Chula Vista, CA, Valerie Provancha of Charlestown, RI, Frederick Tough of Waterbury, CT and David Tough of Westerly, RI. 13 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Her parents, a brother, and long time friend, Waldo Trescott predeceased her.
A Memorial service will be held at the Ledyard Congregational Church on Friday, September 3rd at 11:00 a.m. relatives and friends are invited to attend. Burial will follow the service at the Westfield Cemetery, Danielson.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in her memory be made to the Ledyard Congregational Church at 722 Colonel Ledyard Highway, Ledyard, CT
