BROCKTON - Aleksandra O. “Olga” Anderson, 86, of Brockton died Monday at Brockton Hospital from a fall. She was the wife of the late George O. Anderson.
Born May 3, 1918 in Lithuania, she had been a resident of Brockton for the past 31 years.
Mrs. Anderson was an assembler at Sigma Instrument in Braintree for 14 years, retiring in 1962.
She enjoyed Japanese embroidery, needlepoint and cooking.
Mrs. Anderson also enjoyed gardening and tending to her flower and vegetable garden.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, William E. Cassen and Nancy Galvanni of Bridgewater; her sister Patricia and her nephew, Romus, both of Lithuania. She was mother to the late George Cassen.
Her funeral service will be held Friday at 12 p.m. in Wales-Prophett Funeral Home, 35 Spring St., East Bridgewater. Burial will be in Blue Hill Cemetery.
Visiting hours Thursday 5-8 p.m. in the funeral home.
