Gregory Harrington, 44, of Alexandria, Virginia, formerly of Medway died June 1.
Born in Norwood, August 19, 1968, the son of Joseph Harrington of Jamaica Plain and Patricia Hurley of Medway, Mr. Harrington had lived in Brockton and Medway prior to moving to Virginia 15 years ago.
Mr. Harrington was a graduate of Medway High School, class of 1986, of which he was class president.
He also was a graduate of Boston University, class of 1990 with a degree in hotel management.
Mr. Harrington was the assistant general manager of the Hyatt House in Merrifield, Virginia.
He had previously worked at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Washington, D.C. and before that at several Boston hotels.
Greg was a fan of the New England Patriots, enjoyed golfing and studying history.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother Derek Harrington and his wife Courtney of Franklin.
He is also survived by his beloved nieces Madison, Sydney, Elle and his nephew Jake Harrington.
He is also survived by several aunts and uncles and cousins.
His funeral will be held on Saturday June 8 from the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) 3 Barber Street in Medway ay 12:15 p.m. followed by a funeral Mass in St. Joseph Church at 1:00.
Burial will be private.
Calling hours will be on Friday from 4 - 8 p.m.
