BEAVERTON, OR: Marjorie H. (Frost) Golart, 90, formerly of Gloucester, passed away Tuesday, December 18, 2012. She was the wife of Milton J. Golart.
Born in Gloucester on May 18, 1922, she was the daughter of the late James H. and Lydia Frost.
Marjorie was a loving and supportive wife, mother, and friend to all who knew her. After raising her family, she worked as the accountant for Dicken’s Pub in Honolulu and Expo Foods at several World’s Fairs.
In addition to her husband of 69 years, she is survived by her daughter, Carole Lynda Golart of Hillsboro, OR; daughter-in-law Janet (Munro) Golart of Beavercreek, OH; her brother, Ivan Frost of Gloucester, MA; three grandchildren, Alia of Wilsonville, OR, Aaron of Boise, ID, and Aimee, wife of Kevin Hartke of Bellbrook, OH; two great-grandsons, Seth and Joshua Hartke of Bellbrook, OH; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, James and George; and sisters-in-law Lou, Barbara, and Shirley Frost. She was followed in death by her son, Craig S. Golart, on March 16, 2013.
Interment will be held on June 8th at 10:30 a.m. in the Beechbrook Cemetery Essex Ave. (Rt.133), Gloucester. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend. A memorial service was held in Beaverton, OR. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or to American Foundation for the Blind.
