Francis A."Frank" Ogiba, 80, of Jupiter, FL, died Thursday, August 12, 2004 in Florida. Mr. Ogiba was born in Ipswich, MA on May 2, 1924 and was a resident of Jupiter since 1987, formerly living in Londonderry, NH for 22 years. He was raised by his mother Mary and his stepfather Walter Jurczyk. Mr. Ogiba was a graduate of Boston High School, Boston, MA. He was a WWII US Navy veteran and had served on the destroyer Escort. He was a member of the Sailors Association. He was employed by Hewlett Packard for over 40 years as a model maker, retiring in 1987. He enjoyed his summer home on Lake Winnisquam..
He is survived by two sons, Edward Ogiba of Londonderry, Robert Ogiba of Jupiter, FL, one daughter, Mary-Anne Donaruma of Canton, MA, and five grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife Anne "Nancy" Ogiba in 1998.
There are no calling hours. Following cremation, a Liturgy of the Word will be celebrated on Thursday, August 19th at 10:00am in St. Mark's Church, corner of Mammoth Rd. and South Rd., Londonderry. The burial will be in the Holy Cross Cemetery in Londonderry. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of Palm Beach, 5200 East Ave., W. Palm Beach, FL 33407.
