Dear brother of Dennis Toland of East Dennis, Michael Toland of Andover and the late Mary West, Marguerite Gainey, Richard Toland and Harriet Cadin. Also lovingly survived by his former daughter-in-law, Melissa Esquivel of NH. Born in Boston and a resident of Malden for the last 12 years, Joseph passed away at home Memorial Day morning at the age of 73. For 12 years he was an insurance agent for Prescott and Son Insurance Company in Malden. An accomplished competision pool player he was also a avid book collector and geneologist.
