Dighton, William F. Harrison a lifetime Dighton resident passed away in his home on Wednesday May 29, 2013 after a brief illness. He was 91 years of age. He was the husband of the late Marion Reinhagen. He was born in Dighton Mass son of the late John and Ella (Burt) Harrison. Mr. Harrison was educated in Dighton Schools. He worked for the Commonwealth of Mass in
Environmental Department and he was the District Fire Warden for Bristol County. Mr. Harrison was a member of the United States Army Air Force he served in the WWII. He was a Army Air Force SGT. He was a member of the Bristol County Fire Chief Association. He enjoyed yard work, outdoors, spending time with his grandchildren and teaching them new things. He was survived by two stepchildren
Laurie Jones of Florida and Ann McCaffery of Maine, a son in-law Stephen Jones of Taunton,
three grandchildren Matthew Jones of Taunton, Daniel Jones of CA both a member of the United States Navy, and Amanda Fallwell of New Jersey she is a member of the United States Air Force, and also one great grandchild Brysen, and several nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by one sister Priscilla Hopkins, and his companion Alice Reposa.
Mr. Harrison Funeral Services will be held on Monday at 10:00am at the Taunton Funeral Home relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours will be Sunday From 4-8pm. Burial will be in the Unitarian
