Coila Bohn Kleinhenn

Coila Bohn Kleinhenn, 93, long time Anderson resident, passed away May 29, 2013, at her son's residence in Noblesville. She was born on January 1, 1920 in Hewitt, Minnesota, the daughter of Carl F. and Pearl (Gilbert) Bohn. She was a homemaker and was affiliated with Madison Park Church of God. She had also attended East Side Church of God and Park Place Church of God. She was employed for a few years during the war with Dietzen Surveying in Chicago and also with General Motors in Anderson following that. She was a charter member of the Mr. and Mrs. Club and the Charissa Club.
Survivors include her children: Joyce (Jack) Deaton of Jonesborough, TN; Lois (Danny) Lanier of Howard County, Maryland, and David (Linda) Kleinhenn of Noblesville; 6 Grandchildren: Derek (Betty) Croft of West Bloomfield, MI, Damon (Ashley) Croft of Southern Pines, NC, David Lanier of Bethesda, MD, Alison (Jim) Devis of Brownsburg, IN, Elizabeth (Matt) Heinke of Milwaukee, WI, and Maggie (Chris) Owens of Noblesville, IN; thirteen great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Glenice Marsh of Tulsa, OK and Myrna Bastin of Gowrie, Iowa; several nieces and nephews, a sister and brother-in-law, Rev. Francis and Loree Jolliff of Noblesville.
She was preceded in death by her husband, C. Melvin Kleinhenn on June 22, 2007. They were married on August 6, 1944 at the South Meridian Church of God in Anderson.
Service will be held at 10:30 AM on Monday, June 3, 2013 at Park Place Church of God. Burial will be in East Maplewood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-5 P.M. on Sunday, June 2, 2013 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service and half an hour prior to the service at the church.
Memorial contributions may be given to The Melvin and Coila B. Scholarship Fund at Anderson University or the charity of the donor's choice.
