Doris Jane (Hayes) Houglan, 87, went home to her Lord, Wednesday May 29, 2013 at Emeritus Stonecreek Lodge.
She was born in Louisville to Thomas & Edith O. (Mumford) Hayes Sr.
Doris was a Homemaker and a faithful member of South Jefferson Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 50 years, Norman L. Houglan Sr., her Parents and a Brother: Thomas Hayes Jr.
Survivors include her children: Norman L. Houglan Jr. (Judy), Larry W. Houglan Sr. (Sheila), Sandy Fields (Rick) and Lea Ann Robbins (Rick); 11 Grandchildren, 9 Great Grandchildren; a Brother: Jesse H. Hayes, a Sister: Margie Moates (Paul), and several Nieces & Nephews.
Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM Saturday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy. with burial to follow in Bethany Cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday 2 – 8 PM. Expressions of Sympathy to Hosparus.
