Obituary

JACKSON ELIJAH TRAVON WILLIAMS was born April 24, 2012 in Louisville, Kentucky to parents Heather Cooper and Charles T. Williams, who are also from Louisville, KY. In Jackson’s short life, he left a lasting impression on everyone that ever had the pleasure of meeting him. When Jackson was upset, he would give you a frown that only his father could make. When Jackson was relaxed, he loved to watch television. He really enjoyed cartoons. Veggie Tales was one of his favorites. Even though Jackson never got to walk or talk, he was a very brave and strong little boy. Voiceless or not, in his own right, Jackson said “Mommy and Daddy”, I am tired, and I just was to go to sleep, and he did. And on Mary 24, 2013 at exactly 13 months old to the date, he took his last breath. He passed away in the comfort of this mother’s loving arms with his father right beside her, and also grandparents, family, friends, doctors, and nurses. Jackson was so loved by his family and his Kosair Hospital family.

Jackson is survived by his parents Heather Kohl Cooper and Charles T. Williams, two older brothers, Logan Cooper and Lorenzo Williams, one unborn brother; his sister Kaleigh Williams; grandparents, Wesley and Deborah Kohl, Patricia Williams and Virgil Ford; and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The family would like to acknowledge the staff of Kosair Hospital (the other family) which includes nurses, Kim Hall, Shorty, Ashley, Carol, Michelle, Jenna, Patty, Secretary Annie Stice, Dr. Wisenhauer, Dr. Rodica Turcu, Dr. Russell Chowning, Dr. Alex Blinchevsky, and Dr. Paige Walker, who delivered Jackson. May God bless all of you. No words can express our gratitude. Jackson’s spirit is with God now and he will live on through every one of us who has invested their love and time in him. We love our son, and are forever touched by the courageous fight that he fought for his short time here. We will love and cherish our little angel forever. Mommy and Daddy love you, and we will see you again son. Love, Mom and Dad
