Mrs. Ann Elizabeth (Murphy) Fuchs, a resident of Andover and Naples, Florida and beloved wife of John F. Fuchs, died at the Holy Family Hospital in Methuen on Tuesday morning, May 28, 2013. She was 77 years old.
Born in Trenton, New Jersey, on February 26, 1936, she was the beloved daughter of the late John and Louisa (Clower) Murphy. Mrs. Fuchs was an active woman and was a member of the Andona Society in Andover and the Village Garden Club. She had been employed by Pappagalos in Andover, Young Fashions and Valentine Flowers. In her spare time, Mrs. Fuchs enjoyed winters in Naples, Florida playing golf.
Besides her loving husband, John, Ann will be missed by her loving children; Dorothy A. and her husband David J. Rokes of Naples, Florida, John J. Fuchs of Haverhill and Paul F. Fuchs and his partner Judith L. Mize of Tewksbury. She was also the sister of the late Dorothy Haney and Jackie Murphy.
Calling hours were held in the Burke-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 390 North Main Street, Andover, Thursday, May 30, 2013, from 4 to 7 PM. Service and interment were privately held.
