METHUEN – Ronald A. Frechette, Jr., 58 of Methuen, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday morning at his home in Methuen, MA.
Born in Methuen, he was the son of Ronald A. Frechette, Sr. and Lucille (Leblanc). He attended St. Ann’s Grammar School in Lawrence, and was a graduate of Lawrence High School with the Class of 1974. Ronald worked previously with Wang Laboratories, Gentronics, Compucom and most recently was a computer IT Specialist at Merrimack College in North Andover, MA.
Ronald was an attendant of St. Lucy’s Church and worked at the parish center at St. Patrick’s Church in South Lawrence for many years. He enjoyed helping family and friends with their computer problems, but his greatest joy was spending time with his family especially his beloved grandchildren.
He leaves his wife of 33 years, Mary Jo (Wilson) Frechette of Methuen, MA and is survived by his three children, Michael R. Frechette, Erin M. Frechette both of Methuen, MA and Kathryn L. Frechette of Salem, NH. Ronald also leaves his brother Donald E. Frechette and his wife Linda of California; two sisters, Laura Frechette and her partner Debra Hamel of New Hampshire, and Rita Frechette of Methuen, MA.
Grandchildren, Matthew O’Neil, Madisyn McElroy and Jack McElroy, many nieces and nephews.
Ronald was predeceased by his two brothers, Roger and Alfred Frechette.
ARRANGEMENTS: In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Cor U num Meal Center 191 Salem St. Lawrence, MA 01843 Visiting hours for family and friends will be Thursday from 4:00p.m. – 7:00p.m. at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, Inc., 233 Lawrence Street Methuen, MA 01844. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 10:00a,m. in St. Lucy’s Church in Methuen.
