Worcester – Gertrude Irene (Littlewood) Jennette, 89, of South Padre Island, TX formerly of Florida and Shrewsbury died on Friday August 13 in South Padre Island, Texas after an illness.
Mrs. Jennette’s husband Michael Jennette died in 1963. She leaves four daughters Trudy Smith with whom she lived for the past 4 ½ years in South Padre Island, TX, Patricia A. Ferguson, Karen Andrews and Mary Ellen Jennette, 6 grandchildren; 7 great grandchild, several nephews and nieces and many friends in South Padre Island, TX and the Worcester area. Mrs. Jennette was born in North Brookfield, daughter of Arthur and Alice (Rock) Littlewood. She was a loving mother and best friend to all she met.
A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, August 18 at 11:30 AM in St. John’s Church 44 Temple St. Worcester. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery, North Brookfield.
