New Bedford- Mary S. (Silva) Jorge died August 12, 2004 at St. Luke’s Hospital. She was the widow of Manuel Jorge. She was the mother of Edward D. and his wife Mary Jorge of Chelsea, MA., and Natalie D. and her husband Manuel D. Morais of South Dartmouth. She was the grandmother of David D. Morais, Daniel D. Morais, and Deborah D. Morais all of South Dartmouth, and Amanda L. Jorge, and Jonathan M. Jorge, both of Chelsea, MA.. She was the sister of Frank Ramos of New Bedford, and Evelyn Pereira of North Dartmouth, She was the sister of the late Manuel Ramos, and Deolinda Martins. She is also survived by several nieces, and nephews.
Mrs. Jorge was the daughter of the late Mary (Ferreira) and Joseph Silva Ramos.
