Obituary

Carmelina J. "Millie" Hill, 87, of Londonderry, NH died Friday, May 24, 2013 in the Parkland Medical Center in Derry. She was born in Winchester, MA on May 22, 1926, a daughter of the late Ralph and Nancy (Pittera) Teti. Mrs. Hill was a graduate of Lawrence High School, Lawrence, MA. She retired from AT&T Network Systems and the former Western Electric Co. in North Andover,MA where she worked for 28 years. She was a member of the telephone Pioneers and the Communications Workers of America. A very active person who had many friends, she was involved in several social groups including the Londonderry Seniors and Windham Seniors. She was a very competitive bingo and card player. She was a great cook and loved cooking for her family. A devout Catholic, Mrs. Hill was a communicant of St. Mark's Church and a member of the Rosary Group. She was a previous member of the Red Hatters.
She is survived by her daughter, Ann San Antonio and her husband John, her son, Kenneth Saitta; two step-daughters, Kathy Boyce and her husband Earl and Eileen Moschella and her husband Bill; two grandchildren, Steven San Antonio and Christine San Antonio; one step-grandson, Jason Boyce and two step-great grandchildren, Phoenix and Rowan. She is also survived by her two sisters, Theresa Howard and Shirley Ballantyne; one brother, Ralph Teti and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her first husband, Patrick Saitta in 1973, her second husband, Ralph Hill in 2000 and her sisters, Katherine Brewer, Josephine Walter and Mary Welc.
Calling hours were held on Wednesday, May 29th from 4 to 8pm at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Road, Londonderry. A Liturgy of Christian Burial was celebrated Thursday May 30th at 10:30am at St. Mark’s Church, corner of South Rd. and Mammoth Rd., Londonderry. Burial followed in the Bellevue Cemetery, Lawrence, MA. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Mark’s Church, One South Rd., Londonderry, NH 03053 or to the American Heart Association, Hearts Gifts Processing Center, P.O. Box 3049, Syracuse, NY 13220.
