Carolyn J. (Schmidt) Potter, 68, of Salem, NH died Thursday, May 23rd at Holy Family Hospital in Methuen, MA.
Carolyn was born and educated in Ohio, the daughter of the late Kathryn (Ketchum) and Vincent Schmidt. She was a secretary for the Lawrence School Department.
Carolyn belonged to the neighborhood bridge club and she volunteered at the Salem Boys and Girls Club. She loved spending time with her family,
She is survived by her beloved husband, Hugh Potter of Salem, NH,
her sons, Mark Potter and his fiancé Karen of Manchester, MA and
Matthew Potter and his wife Amy of Belchertown, MA,
her daughter, Lisa and her husband Joseph Spampinato of Salem, NH,
her sister, Sally Davison and her husband Dale of Copley, OH,
8 grandchildren, Jacob, Julia, Tori, Michaela, Ryan, Sarah, Laura and Joseph and many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Monday, May 27th from 4:00 – 7:00 PM at Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH.
The Funeral Service will be Tuesday at 10:30 AM at Haverhill Alliance Church, 284 Kenoza Ave., Haverhill, MA. Cremation will follow.
