Cindy Joanne (Kappeler) Robb, age 46, passed away unexpectedly at home on Tuesday, May 14, 2013, from a cerebral aneurism.
Cindy was born March 30, 1967 in New London, CT to Werner and Marianne Kappeler of Mystic.
The baby of the family, Cindy graduated from Robert E. Fitch Senior High in 1985 and worked most of her adult life doing office and clerical work.
While growing up, she became a good gymnast and participated in gymnastics with the Mystic Community Center. People will remember her tiny frame and long braids and her given nickname "Sasparilla". In her adult life she enjoyed participating in several work-related golf and billiard leagues and playing video poker at the casinos from time to time.
All who knew her came to love her and we are heartbroken at her loss.
Cindy is survived by the loves of her life, 11-year-old daughter Brittany and her 5-year-old son Shawn. She is also survived by her mother Marianne, her sister Trudy, brother Roy, her best friend Sandy and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins in the U.S.A. and in Germany. She is predeceased by her father, Werner.
A service in Cindy's memory will be held on Thursday, May 30, at 1pm at the Middletown Veteran's Cemetery Chapel, 317 Bow Lane, Middletown, CT. All are welcome to attend.
