Richard F. Anderson (69) of Avon formerly of Brockton died May 22nd in the Guardian Center Brockton after a period of failing health.
He was born in Brockton Son of the late John R. and Agnes (Kelleher) Anderson. Richard worked for General Dynamics in Quincy and was a Veteran of the Vietnam conflict serving proudly in the US Marine Corps. He was known for socializing with his military friends at the local supreme coffee shop.
Richard is survived by 4 Daughters Angela Godinez of Avon with whom he resided, Mirtha Sanchez of Brockton, Victoria Cruz of Stoughton and Carmen Bejarano of Bridgewater, 1 Son Jose Bejarano of Halifax, 15 Grandchildren including Ivanna, Giovanni and Elycia DePina all of Avon, a Sister Rita Arlington of Tenn., and his dear friend and former Wife Delia V. Anderson of Brockton.
Funeral Services will be held in the Home of Funerarias Multi Culturel 238 Court St Brockton, Wed. May 29th at 11 am. Burial with Military Honors will follow in the VA National Cemetery, Bourne.
