Maria T. Manteiga died Friday August 13, 2004 at St Lukes Hospital. She was the wife of Diniz S. Manteiga, She was the Daughter of Maria Medeiros Vital and Daughter of the late Jose Vital. She was born in St. Michael Azores and lived in New Bedford for the past 38 yrs. She was a Stitcher at Madeira Twin
Survivors include her Husband, 1 Daughter Rita M. Pine of New Bedford, her Mother, 2 Grandchildren David and Stephanie Pine, 1 Sister Odelia Bettencourt of New Bedford, and Several Nieces and Nephews.
The Funeral Mass will be held Monday @ Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church 9 am. Family and friends are invited. Burial will follow @ St. John’s Cemetery. Visiting hours will be from 5:00 – 8:00 P.M. Sunday
