Obituary

FALL RIVER … Tadeusz C. Plocica, 91, of Fall River passed away, Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at St. Anne’s Hospital.
He was the husband of Frances (Skrzypiec) Plocica of Fall River. They were married for 63 years.
He was born in Fall River a son of the late Joseph and Dorota (Fronczek) Plocica and had been a lifelong resident of this city.
He was employed by the former U.S. Luggage as a Traffic Manager in the shipping department retiring in 1984 after 42 years of service.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving in W.W. II as Electrician’s Mate First Class.
Mr. Plocica was a communicant of Blessed Trinity Polish National Catholic Church, Fall River where he was on the Parish Committee since 1949, a member of the Chopin Choir as President since 1984, the Stain Glass Window Committee and the Parish Building Fund Committee. He enjoyed the computer, reading, and was an avid oil painter.
Survivors include his widow, a sister Jane Bis of Kalamazoo, Michigan, several nieces and nephews including Janice Ferreira of New Bedford and Michael Dziezynski of Fall River. He was the brother of the late Casimierz Plocica, John Plocica, Andrew Plocica, Julia Plocica, and Mary Dziezynski.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Saturday, from the BOYKO MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 709 Broadway, Fall River at 11AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12 Noon at Blessed Trinity Polish National Catholic Church, Winthrop Street, Fall River. Burial will be private. Calling hours will be Friday 4 – 8 PM.
