Emanuel "Manny" Gianni, 71, of Haverhill, MA, died on Monday, May 20, 2013, at his home surrounded by his family.
Born in Lawrence, MA, the son of the late Vincent and Rose Gianni, he was educated in the Lawrence Schools. Manny had lived in Lawrence until moving to Haverhill 15 years ago. He was employed for many years at Showcase Cinema in Lawrence before retiring from Hewlett Packard 3 years ago.
He leaves his wife and best friend of 51 years Geraldine F. "Geri" (Parolisi) Gianni, 2 daughters: Elaine and her husband Roger Aziz of Methuen, MA, and Christine Eldridge of Haverhill, MA, grandchildren: Destinee Herrera and her fiancé Donny Wise of Plaistow, NH, Christopher Eldridge, Kayla Eldridge, and Alexandra Eldridge all of Haverhill, MA, Dustin Aziz and Austin Aziz of Methuen, MA.
great-grandchildren: Kasidee Castro, Marissa and Skyla Wise, and James and Aiden Eldridge. his brother: Reverend Vincent J. Gianni of St. Florence Parish in Wakefield, MA. brother-in-law: Butch and his wife Susan Parolisi of Methuen, MA, former son-in-law: Kevin Eldridge , an aunt: Grace Silvestro of Methuen, MA, an uncle: Fred and his wife Mary Rapisardi of Methuen, MA, as well as several nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, May 24, 2013 from 4 to 7 P.M. at the John Breen Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 122 Amesbury St., Lawrence, MA. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, May 25, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. at Corpus Christi Parish, 35 Essex St., Lawrence, MA. Burial will follow in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery, also in Lawrence, MA.
