Manchester– Irene J. Picknell, 82 died May 20, 2013 at her home following a lengthy illness
She was born in Franklin on July 13, 1930 the daughter of Frank and Rose (Drouin) Robert and had been a resident of this community for many years.
Prior to her retirement she had been employed by the Merrimack County Nursing home as a Nurse’s Aide for over 20 years.
She was predeceased by her husband Albert Picknell in 1970; a son, Frank Picknell and a daughter Wanda Bond.
Family members include two daughters, Jo-Ann Plassmeyer and her husband Joseph of Rochester, PA, Pamela Potter and her husband Rob of Pennacook; three sons, Michael Picknell of Manchester, James Picknell and his wife Karen of Hillsboro, Philip Picknell and his wife Susan of Tilton; several grandchildren, great grandchildren; a daughter-in-law, Susie Picknell; one sister Constance (Connie) Burnard of Manchester and close family friends Wayne, Georgianna and Dana Thompson.
Graveside services will take place Saturday at 1 pm in Park Cemetery in Tilton.
