Joyce --- Walter T. Joyce Sr., Esq. of West Roxbury, passed suddenly, May 16, 2013. Beloved husband of Deborah McNulty. Very loving father of Wally Joyce Jr. of Watertown. Cherished son of the late John V. and Ruth Joyce. Devoted brother of Ruth Haivanis of West Newton, Sue Neff of Light House Point, Fl and the late John V “Jay” Joyce Jr. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral from the Robert J. Lawler and Crosby Funeral Home 1803 Centre St. West Roxbury on Tuesday, May 21 at 10:30am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Theresa of Avila Church at 11:30am. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours in the funeral home Monday from 4:00 – 8:00pm. Interment private.
Walter was a graduate of Harvard University, Northeastern Law School and the Culinary Institute, Hyde Park, NY. Walter had a great love of life. He was an avid golfer, an accomplished musician and a Master of the martial arts.
