Holmes, Carol A (Briggs) 71, died at Jordan Hospital on May 15. Wife of the late Glendon E. Holmes, she leaves her children Carla Tasker of Plymouth, James St Pierre of Bourne, Jeanne Brown of Wareham, and Kathleen Holmes of Plymouth. She also leaves her brother Alan Briggs of FL, 10 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Carol was born in Middleboro the daughter of Lester and Kathleen (Kelly) Briggs. Carol has lived in the Plymouth area most of her life, she worked at Tech Etch in Plymouth as a hot plate machinist. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and spending time with her family.
A gathering of remembrance will be held at the Richard Davis Funeral Home 619 State Road (Rte 3A) Plymouth (Manomet) on Thursday May 23 at 10:00 AM with a service at 11:00 AM. Burial will be in the Vine Hills Cemetery Plymouth. In lieu of flowers donations in Carol’s memory may be made to Road to Responsibility, 1831 Ocean St. Marshfield, MA 02050.
