Earl E. "Buddy" Gibbs, 57, of Anderson, died May 15, 2013 at St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital following an extended illness.
He was born September 10, 1955 in Batesville, Indiana to Helga J. (Edington) and Earl Gibbs.
He had worked in the plumbing industry.
He is survived by his mother, Helga June Modlin; sister, Sherry Lynn Gibbs-Fischer; brother, Jerry Lee Gibbs; stepbrother, Sherrill (Gail) Modlin; step-sister-in-law, Pamela Modlin; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by son, William J. Gibbs, father, Earl Gibbs, brother, Ronald D. Gibbs; step-father, Charles W. Modlin, step-brother, Charles M. Modlin.
Cremation will take place with a private ceremony at a later date.
