Claire L. Rancourt, 78, of Manville, died Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence. She was the loving wife of Paul R. Rancourt. They were married on September 17, 1955.
Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Diana (Sarazin) Durand. She resided in Manville for over 50 years.
Mrs. Rancourt was employed at Cadillac Textile and later in the office at the Holiday in Manville and the Manville Video.
Claire was a member of the St. Joseph and St. Agatha senior citizens clubs.
In addition to her husband of 57 years, she is survived by a son Ronald Rancourt of Greenville, two daughters Suzanne Beaulieu, and her husband Michael, of North Smithfield and Michelle Rizzo of Woonsocket. She was the sister of Doris Bell and Violet Bonneau both of Woonsocket. She is also survived by several grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Her Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, May 18th at 10:00 am in St. Joan of Arc Church, Mendon Rd., Cumberland, Burial will be private. Visiting hours are omitted. Arrangements are by the Menard-Lacouture Funeral Home.
