Arthur Allen Johnston, 73, formerly of Medway died May 13 in the Nemasket Healthcare Center in Middleboro.
Born in Medway, August 28, 1939, the son of the late George S. and Ervilla B. (Osborne) Johnston, Mr. Johnston had lived for most of his life in Medway.
Mr. Johnston had worked in the maintenance department of the Natick Paperboard Company. He had previously worked in the Boston Naval shipyard.
Mr. Johnston served in the Army during the late 1950’s.
He is survived by his children, Dennis Johnston of Orlando, Florida and Nancy Rezendes of Lakeville.
He is also survived by his siblings Wayne Johnston of Lyndonville, Vermont, Robert Johnston of Arizona, Marjorie Barber of Brazil and Mildred Seamone of Nantucket.
He is also survived by his 4 grandchildren.
His funeral service will be held on Thursday May 16 in the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) 3 Barber Street in Medway at 11:00 a.m.
Burial will be at 1:30 p.m. in the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
Visitation will be on Thursday from 10:00-11:00 a.m.
