Bennie A. Visocchi, 87, of Bedford, died August 11, 2004, at St. Joseph Hospital in Nashua, after a lengthy illness.
Born in Everett, MA, March 10, 1917, he was the son of Andrew and Rosie (Dinio) Visocchi. He lived many years in Brighton, Ma, 13 years in Watertown, MA and had been a resident of Bedford the past 4 years.
He owned and operated Visocchi Beef Co. in Watertown, MA for many years prior to his retirement.
He was an army veteran of World War II.
He was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Seton Church, Bedford and was a member of the American Legion.
Family members include his wife, Alice (Gagne) Visocchi of Bedford; a step son, Ronald Ouellette of Belmont, NH; two step daughters, Celeste Nelson of Merrimack, and Carmen Kupetz of Manchester; 5 step grandchildren; 3 step great grandchildren; two sisters, Yolande Visocchi of Brighton, MA and Olga Turcotte of Norwood, MA; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A mass of Christian burial was celebrated Saturday July 14, 2004 at St. Elizabeth Seton Church, Meetinghouse Rd., Bedford. Burial followed in Last Rest Cemetery, Merrimack.
