Manchester– Doris Cora Thomas,85 died May 11,2013 at home following a lengthy illness.
She was born in Manchester, on June 13, 1927 the daughter of Antonio and Rose (Grenier) Noury and had been a lifelong resident of this city.
She was a graduate of St. George Grammar School and St. George High School for girls. She belonged to Daughters of Isabella.
Members of her family include three sons, Philip M. Thomas, David J. Thomas and his wife Annie, Peter J. Thomas, three daughters, Diane C. Gagnon and her husband Marc, Patricia J. Abdelkarim and her husband Taoufik, Pamela J. Letendre and her husband Michael. She also leaves six grandchildren, Samantha Pearl and her husband, Matthew, Amber Letendre, Noah Thomas, Tarek Abdelkarim, Ethan Letendre, and Roman Thomas.
She was predeceased by an infant sister.
Calling hours will be Wednesday from 6 to 8 pm at the J.N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home, 110 Bridge St.. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10 am in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
