Julanne (Fortes) Trottier of Fall River passed away after a brief illness on May l0th at the age of 49. She was the loving wife of Lance Trottier and daughter of Annie Fortes and the late Julio J. Fortes of Tiverton.
She was a graduate of Tiverton High School & Katherine Gibbs Business School, Scholarship Winner/Contestant in the 1981 RI Junior Miss Pageant. She attended the Imbriglio Music School and DeRossi School of Music where she played accordion for many years. She was a Legal Secretary for law firms in the Fall River and Providence areas and worked for several years at Rite Aid Pharmacy in Swansea and Fall River. She enjoyed bowling, photography, arts & crafts, and also enjoyed time with her pets, Buddy and Koby.
Survivors also include two brothers, Leonard Fortes and Robert Fortes, both of Tiverton, and one sister, Susan Fortes-Couitt of Swansea, Godchildren Noah Couitt and Nikki Gomes, Niece Jenna Couitt, and several cousins. She was the ex-wife of Donald Martin and stepmother to Tanya and Donald Martin Jr. and Meagan Trottier.
