Major Robert Fulton (Ret.)

Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Monday, May 13, 2013, Major Robert (Bob) Fulton, 80, husband of the late Elfriede Fulton.

Mr. Fulton was a native of Evansville, Indiana and had resided in Augusta since 1976. He was a Vietnam Veteran and served tours of duty in both Europe and Asia. While he was stationed overseas, he met his wife Elfriede in Germany and quickly became a fluent speaker of the language. After a distinguished military career of over 20 years, Bob retired in 1979 and enjoyed his career as a health care consultant. In his spare time he was an avid sporting clay shooter and hunter, making many friends at the Pinetucky Gun Club.

He is survived by his daughter, Karin Fulton, of Jacksonville, Florida and his beloved caretakers, Judy and Larry Ison.

A memorial service will be held Friday, May 17, 2013, 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel at Thomas Poteet & Son. Interment will follow in Jacksonville National Cemetery at a later date.
