Audrey N. (Moore) Ferris, 77, of Medway, died Saturday, May 11, 2013 at the Medway Country Manor. She was the wife of Michael A. “Bing” Ferris Jr. who died in 2008.
Born in the Jamaica Plain section of Boston on October 7, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Thomas W. and Evelyn (Grant) Moore.
Mrs. Ferris was a resident of Meredith, NH for many years and formerly resided in Medway and Dedham.
She graduated from Dedham High School and worked as a nurse’s aide at Medfield State Hospital for 10 years during the 1970’s and 1980’s.
Mrs. Ferris adored her grandchildren and cherished the time spent with them.
She is survived by her daughter, Leslie Guyette, of Medway; a son, Michael Ferris, and his wife, Coleen, of Naples, FL; four grandchildren: Tiffany Guyette-Polston, Ricky Guyette, Shawna Ferris and Michael Ferris and two great-grandchildren: Dominik and Isaiah.
She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Beverly Moore, of Dedham and was the sister of the late David Moore.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service in the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home, 3 Barber St. in Medway (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) on Friday, May 17 at 10 a.m.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 4 – 8 p.m.
Burial will take place in Evergreen Cemetery in West Medway at a later date.
