Mrs. Jennie Touchton Kennedy, age 95, of Douglas, GA passed away on Saturday, May 11, 2013 , at Southern Senior Living Center following an extended illness. Mrs. Touchton was born on Februay 22, 1918 to the late Dr. George Liston Touchton and Letitia Peterson Touchton.
Survivors include: Two sons: Jimmy Kennedy and Howard Kennedy both of Douglas, GA; Three Grandchildren: Suzanna Ava Huff, Hiram, GA; Heather Renee Settle, Cumming, GA; and James T."Trey" Kennedy III, Douglas, GA; Pet and Companion: "Sugarbear" and Six great-granchildren. She was preceeded in death by her husband James Terrell Kennedy, Great-grandson Daniel Kennedy, two brothers: George Touchton, Jr. and John Howard Touchton and one sister Miriam Orr.
Graveside services will be held, Sunday,May 12, 2013 at 4:00 PM at Douglas City Cemetery with Chuck Sims officiating
