SHERBORN: Gilda A. “Jill” (Beatrice) Valle, age 85, a longtime resident of Sherborn, died after a brief illness on Thursday morning, May 9, 2013, at MetroWest Medical Center in Framingham. She was the devoted wife of the late Leo S. Valle for 45 years.
Born, raised and educated in Framingham, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Jennie (Frongillo) Beatrice.
Jill worked at Perrini Corporation as administrative assistant to the president and at the time of her retirement, had been with the company for over 50 years. She was recognized as the longest employed person in the company’s history.
Jill and her husband Leo Valle were married in 1947 and made their home in Sherborn. Though they had no children of their own, the couple enjoyed their roles of Aunt and Uncle, and remained very close to the members of their large extended family.
The loving sister of Phyllis Sperandio of Concord, Beatrice Sperandio of Laconia, NH, and the late Anthony Beatrice, Gabriel Beatrice, Olympia Difolco, and Ann Richards, she is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
Funeral Services at the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street at Natick Common, will be private. Donations may be made in Jill’s memory to the Sherborn Fire and Rescue Association, Box 277, Sherborn, MA 01770.
