TEWKSBURY – Patrick Flynn, age 74, died Friday, May 10, at the Blair House in Tewksbury. He was the husband of the late, Leslie Anne (Sewall) (Webber) Flynn who died in 2012, and previously Maureen (Russell) Flynn of Tewksbury.
He was born April 19, 1939 in Falkirk, Stirlingshire, Scotland, U.K., a son of the late Thomas and Ann (Daly) Flynn. He served as a tank gunner in the Royal Army for the Occupation Forces in Germany.
He was employed by several commercial airlines as a sales representative.
He is survived by his two children, Karen Swansburg, Steven Flynn both of Tewksbury; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Edward Patrick and Susan B. Flynn of Medford, Thomas Francis and Kathleen Flynn of California; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Elizabeth Ann and Ernst Franzen of CA, and Margaret and Frank McFarlane of Stirling, Scotland; four grandchildren, Michael Swansburg, Ian Flynn, Faith Flynn, and Grace Flynn.
His Funeral Mass was held Monday, May 13, in St. William Church, Tewksbury. Memorial contributions may be made to St. William’s Church, 1351 Main St. Tewksbury, MA 01876, will be appreciated.
