Mrs. Beatrice T. (Tanner) Keel Jackson, a resident of Medford and beloved wife of the late Daniel Keel and Riley Jackson, died at her home on Saturday, May 4, 2013. She was 100 years old.
Born in Lockhart, Alabama, Beatrice was the beloved daughter of the late Littleton and Helen (Senior) Tanner. She was employed as a caterer for many years. She also worked as a caretaker for Mr. Converse. In her spare time, Mrs. Jackson loved to travel and enjoyed spending time cooking for Winchester Hospital.
She will be missed by her nephews; Charles L., James and Maurice Tanner, all of Medford and many other relatives and friends.
Her funeral service was celebrated in the Shiloh Baptist Church, corner of Bower & Holton Street’s, Medford, Friday, May 10, 2013, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends respectfully attended. Visiting hours were held on Thursday, May 9, 2013, from 6 to 8 PM in the Beals-Geake-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 29 Governors Avenue, Medford. Interment will be privately held.
