ANNA M. (GRIFFIN) LINSCOTT, a Hingham resident for almost 65 years, passed away on Thursday, May 9th, 2013 at the Harbor House Nursing Center in Hingham at the age of 91. She was born in Weymouth and was educated in Weymouth schools. During World War II, she worked as a welder at the Fore River and Hingham shipyards. Mrs. Linscott was a member of the Hingham Fire Wives and enjoyed camping, knitting and handi-crafts.
She was the wife of the late Robert E. Linscott and mother of Gerard F. Linscott of Hingham. Grandmother of Timothy R. Linscott and his wife Katherine of Pembroke and Kimberly A. Muzzi and her husband Mark of Lunenburg. Great Grandmother of Caroline G., Deanna E. and Allison F. Linscott and Hannah R., Joshua R. and Heather J. Muzzi.
A Prayer Service will be conducted on Tuesday, May 14th at 11 AM at the Downing Cottage Funeral Chapel, 21 Pond St., Hingham. Friends may visit at the Downing Chapel on Monday from 4-7 PM.
